Work

So, I've started going through the pictures from our trip to Alabama and Florida--there are a lot!--but we haven't been able to post them yet.

I blame work. We've all been working a lot this week.

The kiddos have been working hard, too. They've been coming home from school tuckered out.

But when they have extra energy in the evenings they scamper into the playroom and raid the art supplies. They've been doing some good work.

Like making industrial dollhouse furniture out of unused parts from the shelves we installed in the playroom a few weeks ago. Meggie got her hands on the leftover brackets and screws and this was the result.

And practicing really did pay off for Laurel, who today wrote her name all by herself. After she finished, she said, "OK, now how do I write 'Meggie' ?" Aw.
