Lazy day

Hey, everybody. Had a lazy day today. We all slept in today. Good thing, too, because this guy at work has been telling me that if you get too little sleep you build up a sleep deficit. Grrrrreeeeeat. At any rate, I paid some of it off this weekend.

We went to dinner with some of our friends tonight, and it was 1 degree out. Can you believe that? Bet you never thought you'd see degrees in single digits. Of course, in Fairbanks it said around -10 for weeks at a time. I guess single digits would be preferred. Haha.

Alan had something interesting happen to him yesterday. The court had to cancel a bunch of hearings, because the bus transporting all the convicts struck a moose. Now, I want to tell you that moose are huuuuuuuuuge. They are really amazing to look at. People often visualize reindeer when they think of moose, in terms of size, they're more like horses, but much bigger. The average male moose weighs over 1200 pounds on average. Whew! Alan did more plowing today. The driveway is passable again. He was kind of bummed, though. Right after he finished, one of our neighbors drove around and plowed every driveway with his big truck. So nice.
