My dad told me that our record-cold and wet summer made national news. The Daily News wrote about it here.I have to say, though, we've been having a blast. The girls have been splashing in puddles and playing in the mud. Meggie gets to go to Chuck E. Cheese this week, because she worked hard and finished her current workbooks. When she saw that she was getting close to the end, she pushed through and worked for about half an hour to finish. :o) It's nice to see her be so determined and industrious.
It has been rainy for a good deal of Pops' visit here. But look what today brought!

burrrrr. guess i lucked out when i was ther. we had wonderful weather in homer and it didn't rain much in eagle river. the girls also kept me running so i didn't feel any chill :-)
