Well, if I don't finish up this trip soon, it'll be overtaken by other events. In real life it already has, but in blog life, this is getting in just under the wire.
So, we had a great time in Turkey. We had no idea what to expect. New country. New kind of hotel.
But, as you can see, we had such a nice time together.

On our last day, the girls made one last trip to the kids' club. They got their faces painted, of course.

"We're flower girls!"

The all-inclusive model was a nice surprise. For more than a week, it probably would've gotten repetitive, but for seven days it was just right. Also, there was always something going on. As said, the meals were amazing. Here the chefs are grilling up fresh seafood, kabobs and veggies outside.

Here's part of the lobby, where guests spent time on their computers, conversing, or reading--drinking Turkish tea. It was a relaxing trip for all of us. A nice interlude between the holidays and the beginning of the year.
We hope that your year has gotten off to a good start.
