Christmas Closeout 2012

Father T. says we celebrate Christmas through the baptism of Jesus next Sunday. But for me the Epiphany (today) feels like a natural break, so the Christmas decorations are going back into boxes, and I'm going to post pictures from our wonderful and eventful Christmas.

First, here is the overdue synopsis of the 3rd grade holiday pageant. Sadly, the first-graders didn't do a pageant. The third-graders covered ALL the major holidays of December: Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Ramadan. The kids did a great job and kept singing when the sound system cut out during the last song.

We had a great Christmas at home, and then the girls and I went the the Southeast. We had some problems at the condo in Florida, and we couldn't have gotten it all fixed in the short space of four days without Grandma Joyce's help.

We really enjoyed spending the rest of our time in Alabama afterward. My only regret is that I didn't take more pictures. If I had there would be more of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Most of the non-Arizona pictures in this video were taken by Grandma Joyce. (Thank you for the pictures!) I'll do better next time.

So, here's the recap.

We hope you had great holidays and that 2013 will be magical. :o)

love,
