Sicky baby

Meggie is sick. Yesterday Alan got a call from the nursery school. The lady said that Meggie had a fever. I could hardly believe it, because she had been fine that morning. 102 degrees, they said. Alan brought her home yesterday afternoon, and I stayed home with her today. I took her to the doc this morning and, sure enough, double ear infection. But still no symptoms other than the fever. She was happy, into everything (as usual), no ear rubbing, no crying ... nothing. Beats me. She's on antibiotics now, and the fever is down. Meggie has always been always such a trooper. Even when she was a newborn. She didn't get it from me.
