On the mend

I'm happy to report that Meggie and Alan are starting to feel better. Alan went back to work after a day of recuperation at home. Meggie's cycles are returning back to normal.

Alas, the paper box has given up the ghost. It's flat on the side of the road now. The snowbank was its sole support. I guess we don't have to worry about it until next winter anyway. The Daily News only installed it because the delivery person couldn't get up the icy driveway. One morning I looked out the window and saw a person sliding down the driveway on all fours with the paper sliding behind.
