Second day of springtime

I hear yesterday was the first day of spring. So here's our ongoing ode to pseudo-spring:

On the first day of springtime, nature gave to me one foot of brand-new snow.

On the second day of springtime, nature gave to me 10 shrieking kids (playgroup) and a foot of brand-new snow.

(Yeah, only one person attempted to charge the driveway, although Alan had plowed it. Guess I never think about it because we have 4x4 vehicles. Something to think about the next time I'm eying new minivans. No comments from the peanut gallery, please. ;o) They're darn practical. Never thought I'd say that...)
